The Mexico-Cárdenas Museum in Waxhaw, NC, features two distinct buildings. The Cardenas Building explores the history of JAARS and mission work, showcasing airplane and boat models, an antique car, a motorcycle, and a "flying" helicopter. The Pittman Building delves into the history of writing systems and modern alphabet makers through hands-on exhibits, including sounds of Arabic and Cherokee. A meditation garden on site contains the graves of the museum's founders.
