The USCGC Mackinaw WAGB-83 is a massive floating museum, known as the legendary Queen of the Great Lakes. Visitors can climb aboard this WWII-era marvel, which served as the primary heavy icebreaker on the Great Lakes for 62 years. A self-guided tour allows exploration of its inner workings, from the Bridge and Engine Room to the mess deck and captain’s quarters. It is the largest icebreaker to ever sail the Great Lakes.
