Battle of North Point
Dundalk, MD
North Point State Battlefield preserves nine acres of open land. This site represents the last undeveloped parcel from the Battle of North Point, a turning point in the defense of Baltimore during the War of 1812. On September 12, 1814, Maryland militia soldiers fought invading British regulars across this field, where American Brigadier General Stricker commanded his forces.
