About Waynesboro Heritage Museum
The Waynesboro Heritage Foundation operates two museums dedicated to preserving local history. The Heritage Museum, housed in a renovated 1908 bank building, displays artifacts and records telling the story of Waynesboro's people and community. The Plumb House, an early nineteenth-century frame dwelling, features a Civil War exhibit and historic outbuildings including a summer kitchen.
