About Little Rock School House Museum
The Little Rock School House Museum is housed in the Rock School, which was erected in 1884 as Mineral Wells’ first public school. It later served as a band hall until 1968. In 1974, the Mineral Wells Heritage Association renovated and converted the building into a museum dedicated to preserving the history of the City of Mineral Wells. The association continues to operate the museum today.
