About Boy Scouts of America National Museum
The National Scouting Museum, founded in 1959 and located at Philmont Scout Ranch since 2018, preserves the history of the Scouting movement through exhibits and collections of treasured artifacts and stories. The museum also operates Villa Philmonté and the Seton Memorial Library, interpreting themes spanning Scouting heritage, local history, and the lands of Northern New Mexico.
