About Siuslaw Pioneer Museum
The Siuslaw Pioneer Museum in Florence preserves and presents the local history of Florence and the Siuslaw Region. Visitors can explore diverse exhibits showcasing life from before white settlers to the 1950s, including an authentic dug-out canoe, pioneer household items, and early logging and fishing implements. The museum also features a new exhibit on America's 250th Anniversary and offers a historic walking tour of Old Town Florence.
