About Railroad Museum of Long Island
The Railroad Museum of Long Island preserves and celebrates Long Island Railroad history across two locations. Visitors can ride the restored G-16 park train from the 1964-1965 New York World’s Fair and explore a hands-on train yard. The museum also showcases a gigantic historic Lionel train layout with twelve operating tracks and hundreds of trains.
