About Old Aztec Mill Museum
The Aztec Mill Museum, built in 1864 as part of a treaty with Indigenous nations, stands as Cimarron's tallest and oldest structure. The mill now houses artifacts and stories of northeastern New Mexico's inhabitants, from millstones and fine china to arrowheads and ranch wagons that collectively chronicle the region's heritage.
