About Natchez Museum of African American History and Culture
The Natchez Museum of African American History and Culture was established in 1991 to research, collect, exhibit, interpret, and preserve the cultural and historical contributions of African Americans in Natchez and the nation. Visitors can explore exhibits including Forks Of The Roads, Pinta de Castas Paintings, The Barland Family, and the Rhythm Night Club Fire. The museum also features displays on Black Education, Natchez Civil Rights Events, Clementine Hunter Paintings, and the Richard Wright Exhibit Hall, alongside the Natchez Music Connection.
