The Rathbone School Museum — Museum

The Rathbone School Museum in Eagle Harbor is an extensively restored one-room schoolhouse that served the community from 1853 to 1872. Justus H. Rathbone conceived the idea for the Knights of Pythias here in 1860. One side of the museum is set up as an original one-room schoolhouse, while the other side displays regalia and memorabilia commemorating the Knights of Pythias. The school is an object of pilgrimage for society members.
