Eagle Harbor Lifesaveing Station — Museum

The Eagle Harbor Lifesaving Station Museum is located in the old Life Saving Station boathouse near the marina. It displays early wooden rescue boats used by the U.S. Life-Saving Service and the U.S. Coast Guard. Exhibits include a restored 26-foot pulling surfboat, a 26-foot U.S. Coast Guard motor surfboat, and a 36-foot U.S. Coast Guard Motor Lifeboat. Visitors can also see a display about the 1913 rescue of the steamer L. C. Waldo.
