The Baltimore and Ohio Ellicott City Station Museum is America's oldest railroad station, designated a National Historic Landmark in 1968. Built in 1831, it served as the terminus for the first 13 miles of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad, founded in 1827. Visitors can explore the Freight Agent's Office, Superintendent's Office, and a restored 1927 Caboose. The museum also features an HO-scale model depicting the first 13 miles of the B&O Railroad.
