About Creede Underground Mining Museum
The Creede Underground Mining Museum is located completely underground, blasted out of a solid rock cliff by local miners starting in 1990. It features many displays, including real mining equipment, across 600 feet of drift. The facility also includes a gift shop and the Creede Community Center, which hosts various gatherings. All facilities are handicap accessible.
