About Arkansas Country Doctor Museum
The Arkansas Country Doctor Museum preserves the history of health care in rural America. Housed in a building that served as a clinic and home to three doctors from 1936 to 1973, it presents the life of a small town doctor and early 20th-century medical practices. Visitors can explore exhibits on the History of Rural Medicine, the Hall of Honor, and the Steele, Kirksey, and Dr. Williams James Rollins families of doctors.
