About Prairie Bayou WMA
Prairie Bayou WMA encompasses 453 acres in southeastern Lonoke County, south of Carlisle, and is part of the Grand Prairie Ecosystem. The area offers hunting opportunities for deer, turkey, and small game. Management practices include planting native warm-season grasses to provide habitat for rabbit and quail. Visitors can also train dogs for rabbit hunting.
