The Eggeling Hotel, a galleried building constructed in New Braunfels between 1898 and 1900, was built by Emilie and Theodor Eggeling. It operated as a hotel for over 50 years, later known as the Comal Hotel, and featured a popular dining room. This historic establishment is recognized as a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark since 1979.
