The Museum of Texas Handmade Furniture is located on 11 wooded acres in historic New Braunfels. It houses a collection of structural and domestic artifacts from early European migrants, including locally crafted pieces from the German immigrant community. The museum exhibits one of the largest collections of Biedermeier furniture, including works by master carpenters Heinrich Scholl jr. and Johann Michael Jahn. Its grounds feature native plants, wildflowers, and ancient live oak trees.
