About Comal County Courthouse
The Comal County Courthouse in New Braunfels is a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark built in 1898. Designed by famous Texas courthouse architect J. Riley Gordon, this 3 1/2 story Romanesque-style structure features rounded pavilion entrances, dramatic massing, and superb stone work. It reflects New Braunfels' German heritage and the spirit of Comal County at the turn of the twentieth century.
