About Freedman's Town Visitor Center
The Freedmen’s Town Visitor Center, home to the Houston Freedmen’s Town Conservancy, features a welcome center and two row house galleries with exhibitions for visitors to tour, along with the African American History Research Center at the Gregory School. Guided walking and bike tours are also offered to explore historic homes, churches, brick streets, and foundational sites of Freedmen’s Town.
