About Moody Mansion
Moody Mansion is a 28,000-square-foot, four-story historic house in Galveston, completed in 1895. Once home to the W.L. Moody, Jr. family, it has been restored to its turn-of-the-century splendor and is open for tours. The mansion is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a Recorded Texas Historical Landmark. The Travel Channel has recognized it as one of the most famous historic houses open for tours in the nation.
