About Galveston County Historical Museum
The Galveston County Museum is located in the Galveston County Courthouse. Visitors can take private tours and play the Padlock Mystery Game by appointment. The museum participates in the U.S. Lighthouse Society's Passport Program and exhibits the Galveston South Jetty Lighthouse Fresnel Lens in its lobby. Guests can also get a passport stamp at the reception desk.
