About Macaulay Museum of Dental History
The Macaulay Museum of Dental History is located in the historical heart of the Medical University of South Carolina campus in Charleston, SC. Established in 1975 by Dr. Neill W. Macaulay, it houses the most comprehensive collection of dental artifacts in South Carolina. Visitors can see historical tools, a 19th Century dental-office display, a collection of dental chairs, and a Civil War era traveling dentist's chest. The renovated space features newly designed exhibits and conserved historical collections.
