About Portland Puppet Museum
The Portland Puppet Museum opened in May 2012 in Portland's Sellwood neighborhood. It is one of the nation's few museums dedicated to the history and preservation of puppetry. The museum features exhibits showcasing 200 to 400 puppets of various sizes and kinds, along with puppet memorabilia from around the world. Puppet shows are frequently held in the exhibit hall and in an outdoor theater during the summer.
