The National Museum of the Great Lakes preserves and celebrates thousands of years of human stories related to the Great Lakes. Visitors can explore over 300 artifacts, photography, and audiovisual displays across three exhibit galleries, including a rotating temporary space. Guests may also step aboard the 617-foot Col. James M. Schoonmaker Museum Ship and the historic Museum Tug Ohio for an on-the-water experience, learning about stories from 17th-century fur traders to 21st-century freighter crews.
