About Central Ohio Fire Museum
The Central Ohio Fire Museum & Learning Center is housed in an authentically restored 1908 engine house. It features a collection of hand-drawn, horse-drawn, and motorized fire apparatus, allowing visitors to explore the evolution of firefighting from the 1820s to the present. Guests can also learn about early emergency communications, see a permanent display honoring African American firefighters, and participate in age-appropriate fire safety education. Younger visitors can enjoy the Future Firefighters Academy, featuring a real fire truck cab and an authentic fire pole.
