About Kiersted House
The Kiersted House is the Saugerties Historical Society's headquarters and museum, located in the Village of Saugerties. This architecturally significant rubble stone building features portions dating back to the 1680s and retains much of its original interior composition. Visitors can explore changing exhibits and enjoy events like Colonial Reenactments on the landscaped 1 ¼-acre property, which also includes an authentic early 1700s Dutch barn.
