About Palace of the Governors
Erected in 1610, the Palace of the Governors is the oldest public building in continuous use constructed by European settlers in the continental United States. It features a Photo Archives with an estimated one million historic photographic items, the Fray Angélico Chávez History Library, a working exhibit called The Palace Press, and a program allowing interaction with Native American artisans.
