About U.S. Life Saving Station 30
The U.S. Life Saving Station 30, also known as U.S. Coast Guard Station No. 126, is now a museum in Ocean City, NJ. It is the only life-saving station of its Carpenter Gothic design by James Lake Parkinson in New Jersey still in existence, and one of six in the country. Visitors can experience the lives of the brave surfmen who worked at this station, which was one of 42 built in New Jersey.
