MORA Museum of International Art, formerly known as the Museum of Russian Art, serves as an intellectual-artistic hub for dissident and human rights activism. The museum's politics have always opposed the Russian government. It was founded as C.A.S.E. Museum of Russian Art in Exile, introducing the art of Soviet émigrés to American audiences. Its core collection was largely culled from human rights activist Alexander Glezer’s private holdings.
