About Moss Mansion Museum
The Moss Mansion Museum is a turn-of-the-century home built in 1903 and designed by New York architect Henry Janeway Hardenbergh. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Today, The Moss is a cultural center that celebrates the influential accomplishments of Preston Boyd Moss and the legacy nurtured by his wife, Mattie, and daughter, Melville. Visitors can take self-paced, guided, or specialty tours to experience aspects of this legacy, and the museum also hosts events and offers private rentals.
