About Two Harbors Light Station
The Two Harbors Lighthouse has guided ships into Agate Bay since 1892. This red brick complex, including the light tower and head keeper’s quarters, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Lake County Historical Society provides tours of the Light Station, which operates as a private aid to navigation maintained by volunteers. Visitors will observe a flashing beacon in place of the original iconic light sweep.
