About Duluth & Iron Range Railroad Depot Museum
The Duluth & Iron Range Railroad Depot Museum is located in the former company headquarters and passenger station, which opened in 1907. It offers 4,000 feet of exhibit space sharing the county's past and present culture. Visitors can see the 3 Spot, the railroad's first engine, and the Yellowstone Mallet, one of the largest locomotives ever built, both on display next to the Depot.
