About Emerson-Wilcox House Museum
Built around 1735, the Emerson-Wilcox House served as a general store, tavern, tailor shop, post office, and residence during its more than 250-year history. The Georgian-style structure was expanded in 1760 and 1817. Recently restored after structural damage, the house is now part of the Old York Historical Society properties.
