About Farnsworth Art Museum
The Farnsworth Art Museum in Rockland, Maine, celebrates Maine’s role in American art. It features a nationally recognized collection with 20,000 square feet of gallery space and almost 16,000 works. The museum holds one of the largest public collections of works by sculptor Louise Nevelson and its Wyeth Center showcases works by N.C., Andrew, and Jamie Wyeth. The complex also includes the National Register-listed Farnsworth Homestead, the Olson House, and the Gamble Center for Education.
