About The Plimoth Grist Mill
The Plimoth Grist Mill is a working reproduction of the Plymouth Colonists’ original 1636 grain mill, located on Town Brook. Visitors can learn about the mill’s history and workings, including 200-year-old millstones grinding corn. Guests can observe a 14-foot waterwheel powered by Town Brook and see 54-inch grinding stones inside. A hands-on exhibit area explores water power and simple machines.
