About Nantucket Whaling Museum
The Nantucket Whaling Museum allows visitors to explore 18th-century whaling in Gosnell Hall and tour the Hadwen & Barney Oil and Candle Factory. It features a scrimshaw collection, the story of the whaleship Essex, and Neptune’s Grotto. Guests can also enjoy Tucker’s Roofwalk for harbor views and a Discovery Center for children.
