About St Joseph Plantation
St. Joseph and Felicity Plantations are two working sugarcane plantations in Vacherie, LA. Visitors can tour one or both ancestral homes and explore the surrounding grounds. The site features many historic buildings, including original dwellings of the enslaved. Exhibits at the Louisiana Sugarcane Museum offer a glimpse into life on a sugar plantation.
