About Union Station
Springfield Union Station is a historic Richardson Romanesque railroad station built in 1898 and now serves as part of the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum complex. The former train terminal, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, operated for 73 years before being repurposed as a visitor center and cultural facility.
