The Shabbona-Lee-Rollo Historical Museum preserves the past of Shabbona, Lee, Rollo, and surrounding areas across DeKalb, Lee, and LaSalle Counties. Opened in 1992 in an old bank building, it expanded in 2014 with a 1200 sq. ft. addition for research and displays. Visitors can see a replica of the Appeal to the Great Spirit statue and 18 mannequins showcasing local military uniforms and artifacts. The museum also houses research collections including obituaries, family histories, and military records.
