Pella Historical Village & Vermeer Windmill — Museum

The Vermeer Windmill was designed and built in the Netherlands, then re-assembled in Pella in 2002. It is an 1850s-style grain mill and one of the tallest working windmills in North America. Visitors can tour its five floors, from the base to the milling floor, and see the giant blades or views of Pella from the deck. The experience also includes a self-guided tour of the Historical Village and a Miniature Dutch Village depicting 1840s Netherlands life across four seasons.
