Pin Point Heritage Museum is located in the former A.S. Varn & Son Oyster and Crab Factory, east of Savannah. Guests can discover coastal Georgia’s rich Gullah-Geechee culture and understand the historical experience of growing up in Pin Point. This community was founded by formerly enslaved African Americans and their descendants in the 1890s. Exhibits and guided tours focus on religion, language, and food, featuring stories of residents.
