About World War II Flight Training Museum
The World War II Flight Training Museum occupies the most intact of the nation's 55 civilian primary flight training centers from the era. Home to the 63rd Army Air Forces Flying Training Detachment from 1941 to 1944, the facility trained between 5,000 and 7,000 aviation cadets for the war effort. Exhibits in the restored instructors' barracks showcase aircraft, training equipment, and the history of the cadets and personnel who served there.
