About The River Center
The River Center showcases the diverse ecosystems of Florida's Loxahatchee River, the nation's first National Wild and Scenic River. The facility features live aquatic tanks, interactive exhibits, and a touch tank representing habitats from freshwater cypress swamps to marine environments. Educational programs, field trips, and hands-on activities help visitors understand the Loxahatchee watershed and develop environmental stewardship.
