About Nanticoke Indian Museum
The Nanticoke Indian Museum is Delaware's only Native American Museum and a National Historic Landmark, one of 13 such sites within the Native American community. It displays artifacts from Elders and donations, including thousands of arrowheads, pottery, and axe hammers. Visitors can explore two rooms featuring tools, a village example, artwork, artifacts dating back to 8000 B.C., traditional clothing, and a wooden canoe. The museum also offers special tours for schools and community groups.
