About Kirkland Museum of Fine & Decorative Art
The Kirkland Museum of Fine & Decorative Art, which opened in 2003, relocated to its current Bannock Street building in 2018, incorporating Vance Kirkland’s historic studio. The museum displays paintings by Vance Kirkland, works by other Colorado artists, and international decorative art, presented in a unique vignette style. It also features special exhibitions, including the ongoing Vanity & Vice: American Art Deco. As of October 1, 2024, the museum has merged with the Denver Art Museum, with one ticket granting access to both institutions.
