About USS Lucid
The Stockton Maritime Museum highlights the history of Stockton’s shipbuilding and those who served aboard wartime vessels. Visitors can experience life as a Navy seaman on board the USS Lucid, a multi-level minesweeper. Guided by veterans, the USS Lucid is the last of its class in the United States, built in 1953 and serving until 1976.
