The Blue Wing Inn is a long, low adobe building located across from the mission. It is named after a gold rush era gambling room and saloon. Portions of the building are thought to have originally housed soldiers assigned to the Sonoma Mission before being joined and expanded. Acquired by the state in 1968, it is California Historical Landmark Number 17.
