About Sacramento Archives and Museum Collection Center Library
The Center for Sacramento History is the official archives and research center for historical government records of the City and County of Sacramento. It houses extensive collections of artifacts, photographs, film, audio, and archival materials documenting the region's history. Visitors can view exhibits, such as the Sacramento Jazz Jubilee, in the reading room. Six neon signs from its collection are also on display at the Golden 1 Center.
