The Aptos History Museum presents beautiful displays within the Aptos Branch Library. Its collection originated in the 1980s with John Hibble's photo collection, which expanded with community donations of historical items. The museum opened an expanded facility in 2006 and received the Aptos Community Achievement Award that same year.
